About

Vertices is plural for vertex and the word, to me, is a good summation of our individual and completely unique moments in time. Our ever-evolving vertices are blended together but necessarily separate, always moving in sync towards the inevitability of death. Sometimes vertices travel together, grow and change in harmony, spending a moment or maybe longer there, before moving on.
Maybe a little abstract, perhaps, but read the definitions below and think about it!
(I’ll admit that I couldn’t find a use for #3 but left it in there in the interest of fairness. Maybe you’ll think of something.)

[vur-tuh-seez]

1.  the highest point of something; apex; summit; top: the vertex of a mountain.

2.  Anatomy, Zoology. the crown or top of the head.
3. Craniometry. the highest point on the midsagittal plane of the skull or head viewed from the left side when the skull or head is in the Frankfurt horizontal.
4.  Astronomy. a point in the celestial sphere toward which or from which the common motion of a group of stars is directed.

5.  Geometry.

  1. the point farthest from the base:
the vertex of a cone or of a pyramid.
  2. a point in a geometrical solid common to three or more sides.
  3. the intersection of two sides of a plane figure.

Some might read the first paragraph and think it morbid but that isn’t the intent. Experience brings new perceptions about the reality. THE Reality. Maybe that’s what I should call the blog…
